Faculty of Chemistry

Foundation: Chemistry has been taught at the University since its founding. The Department of Chemistry, Mineralogy, and Geology was one of the eight original departments of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University from 1834. The Department of Chemistry was formed in 1901.

Departments: Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Chemistry of Macromolecular Compounds.

International Dual Diploma Programs: Department of Chemistry has numerous Agreements for International Cooperation with European Universities, in particular, the Dual-Diploma Programs:
– University Paul Sabatier (Toulouse, France) – French-Ukrainian International Research Association on Molecular Chemistry. In the frame of this cooperation – double degree programs (Master and Ph.D.).
– Angers University (France) – double degree programs (Master and Ph.D.).
– University Le Mans (France) – Master course in the frame of “ERASMUS+”.
– Possibility for the double Master course together with “Ecole Polytechnique” (Paris, France), Konstanz University (Germany) and Strasbourg University (France).
